Center Review:  New Light, Literal and Figurative, on Nazi Crimes

Working hand in hand with Boston based Mystic Scenic Studios, Rose Brand’s project management team provided Precision Cutting Technology to produce the intricate lacy quality of this drop designed by Benjamin Phillips for the Boston Ballet. Using our 22 oz Encore™ Velour as the base fabric, the precise cuts were etched through-out the fabric, leaving a clean, fray-free edge. Mystic’s team of scenic artists stabilized the open areas of the precision cut Encore Velour by gluing it to our Tiger Gauze netting.

Our computer controlled cutting service opens the door to new design possibilities to produce finished cut pieces with tight tolerances and with very high repeatability. We have used fabrics as diverse as Poly Silk and Wool Serge, to name a few, which work well with this exact cutting technique. Please contact us early in your design process, with your CAD or vector drawings, so we can help you find the perfect solution.
